Job Description

Our client a leading telecom company, is looking for a Validation Engineer to join their team in Lebanon. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing the performance of implemented energy solutions, validating engineering calculations, identifying optimization opportunities, and supporting continuous improvement through technical analysis and reporting. This role requires a strong understanding of energy systems, data analysis, and performance monitoring across renewable and hybrid energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze the performance of implemented energy solutions and validate system behavior.
  • Review engineering calculations and assess the operational performance of energy systems.
  • Analyze energy logs, monitoring system data, and performance reports.
  • Prepare performance reports, dashboards, and graphical analyses using Excel and Power BI.
  • Identify performance gaps, energy losses, overconsumption, and optimization opportunities through data analysis.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing technical recommendations and performance validation reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure solution efficiency and accuracy.
Qualification
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Energy Engineering.
  • 13 years of experience in energy engineering, energy validation, or solution performance analysis.
  • Strong understanding of engineering calculations for:
    • Solar PV systems
    • Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
    • Diesel generators
    • Hybrid energy solutions
  • Experience analyzing energy logs, monitoring systems, and operational performance data.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
  • Knowledge of energy solution modeling.
  • Experience with HOMER is considered an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Fluency in English and French is mandatory.
