03 JOB PURPOSE |
The Head of Finance will play a strategic leadership role in driving the company's financial planning, cash flow management, and banking relationships. This position goes beyond traditional accounting and focuses on business partnering, financial strategy, and team leadership to support sustainable growth and operational efficiency.

04 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES |
4.1 Financial Strategy & Planning
- Lead the annual budgeting process, including preparation, consolidation, and presentation to senior management at unit and group level
- Develop and maintain rolling forecasts and financial models to support strategic decision-making.
- Provide insightful analysis on financial performance, variances, and business drivers.
- Partner with business units to align financial plans with organizational objectives.
4.2 Cash Flow & Treasury Management
- Own and actively manage cash flow planning, ensuring optimal liquidity at all times.
- Monitor working capital, including receivables, payables, and inventory cycles.
- Develop strategies to optimize cash utilization and reduce funding costs.
- Ensure timely preparation of cash flow forecasts and treasury reports.
4.3 Banking & External Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact with banks and financial institutions.
- Lead negotiations for credit facilities, loans, and banking arrangements.
- Manage relationships with auditors, consultants, and other financial stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with banking covenants and reporting requirements.
4.4 Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Allocate responsibilities effectively while ensuring accountability and delivery.
- Support team capability building in both technical and analytical skills.
- Drive process improvements and promote automation where feasible.
4.5 Financial Reporting & Governance
- Oversee accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with applicable standards.
- Strengthen internal controls and ensure adherence to company policies.
- Support audit processes and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, tax, and statutory requirements.
4.6 Business Partnering
- Act as a strategic advisor to management, providing financial insights for decision-making.
- Evaluate business opportunities, investments, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Support operational teams with data-driven financial guidance.

05 JOB SPECIFICATION |
5.1 Educational Qualifications

Essential |
Bachelor's degree + Chartered Accountant / CPA / CMA |

Desirable |
Additional certifications in Accounting, or related field |
5.2 Work Experience
- 8–12 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and treasury management, and banking relationships.
- Demonstrated track record of managing and developing finance teams.
5.3 Skills & Competencies
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical capability.
- Excellent communication and articulation skills — confident with senior stakeholders and banks.
- Leadership ability with a focus on team development and accountability.
- High level of commercial acumen and business understanding.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and financial modelling tools.
