Job Description
Our client, a leading wholesale and distribution company in Lebanon, representing international brands specializing in underwear, legwear, and nightwear, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join their team.
Responsibilities
Sales Management
- Set sales forecasts and develop strategic action plans to achieve targets
- Monitor and manage the sales team on a daily basis
- Generate, analyze, and interpret sales reports and performance statistics
- Plan and conduct regular market visits to boost sales and gather competitive insights
- Propose and oversee promotions, offers, and marketing materials to support sales growth
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and negotiate agreements
- Follow up on payments and take necessary action on overdue accounts
Suppliers & Orders
- Manage communication with international suppliers across all company brands
- Handle order placements for both core (classic) and seasonal (fashion) collections
- Negotiate deals and stay updated on new collections and trends
Pricing & Stock Management
- Establish pricing strategies including retail and wholesale prices, discounts, and offers
- Ensure accurate system updates for all pricing and promotional activities
- Monitor inventory levels regularly and take action to push slow-moving items
Shipments & Logistics
- Review and control supplier documentation (proformas, invoices, packing lists, certificates, etc.)
- Organize and follow up on shipments from suppliers
- Coordinate with accounting and logistics teams for clearance, costing, and system entry
Operations & Administration
- Oversee daily office operations and ensure all processes are executed accurately and on time
- Approve and sign off on daily transactions (invoices, credit notes, stock adjustments, transfers, etc.)
- Monitor system changes related to pricing and incentives
- Prepare and review weekly reports on fuel consumption and vehicle maintenance
- Supervise monthly cash flow tracking and reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Sales Management
- Fluency in Arabic, English, and French
- Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other business tools)
- Excellent analytical and reporting abilities
- Strong organizational skills with effective time management
- Leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
