Job Description

Our client is a well-established regional tobacco and distribution organization operating across African and Middle Eastern markets. With a strong regional footprint and an extensive wholesale network, the company is seeking a National Finance Manager to support day-to-day financial operations, ensure accurate reporting, and contribute to effective financial control across multiple entities

Responsibilities
  • Record bank payments, receipts, and inter-bank transfers.
  • Record foreign exchange (FOREX) journal entries.
  • Maintain complete documentation and supporting evidence for all accounting entries.
  • Prepare and review bank reconciliations.
  • Record funds transferred from exchange houses to banks based on approved documentation.
  • Collect and record invoices related to recurring expenses.
  • Allocate payments to invoices and ensure proper supporting documentation.
  • Record direct remittances from customers to suppliers.
  • Process purchase orders, supplier invoices, and material receipt notes (MRNs).
  • Issue sales orders, delivery notes, and customer invoices.
  • Record stock transfers and inventory movements.
  • Prepare vendor, customer, and stock reconciliations (system records vs. physical counts).
  • Perform monthly closing activities and assist in the preparation of financial statements.
  • Analyze financial data and prepare management reports.
  • Prepare and submit monthly stock audit and sales reports.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • MBA in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent professional qualification (e.g., CA-Inter).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial accounting or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping procedures.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and accounting systems (experience with ERP systems preferred).
  • Fluency in French and English; Arabic is an asset.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines.
Location
  • Ivory Coast, Africa –– with travels across Africa (Guinea)
