A leading holding company in the steel industry is hiring an experienced and strategic Senior Digital Solutions Manager to lead the ERP and digital transformation functions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP Business One, with exposure to SAP S/4HANA and other ERP platforms. This position combines hands-on operational management with strategic oversight to enhance business systems, drive efficiency, and support long-term digital initiatives across multiple manufacturing sites.
Responsibilities:
ERP & Systems Management
Lead the implementation, configuration, and continuous improvement of SAP Business One across all sites.
Serve as the main point of contact for ERP operations, troubleshooting, upgrades, and vendor coordination.
Develop and customize SAP B1 modules to streamline workflows across Finance, Production, and Maintenance.
Integrate ERP with third-party platforms, including inventory management, CRM, and finance tools.
Align ERP capabilities with core business processes across procurement, production, warehousing, finance, and sales.
Digital Strategy & Optimization
Collaborate with senior leadership to define the organization’s digital transformation roadmap.
Identify and implement digital tools that enhance efficiency, visibility, and data-driven decision-making.
Lead process automation and reengineering initiatives linked to ERP improvements.
Data Management & Reporting
Maintain data accuracy and consistency through robust governance and master data controls.
Oversee the design of dashboards and reports using Power BI or similar platforms.
Provide actionable insights and analytics to support operational and strategic decisions.
Stakeholder Engagement & Support
Deliver user training, change management, and continuous ERP support.
Act as a bridge between IT, operations, finance, and supply chain teams to ensure system alignment with business objectives.
Document system processes, modifications, and improvement plans to support ongoing optimization.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
8–10 years of experience managing ERP systems, with advanced proficiency in SAP Business One and familiarity with SAP S/4HANA.
Proven experience in the manufacturing sector, preferably across African markets.
Strong understanding of supply chain, finance, production, and inventory management processes.
Skilled in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook, Teams) and data visualization using Power BI or similar tools.
Demonstrated success in leading ERP implementations, cross-functional teams, and post-deployment support.
